Terms of service
A plain-English outline of the commercial terms Cowkeeper intends to offer. The binding agreement is the signed service agreement, which counsel will prepare.
The service
Cowkeeper provides a flat-rate managed IT and cybersecurity service: a dedicated IT Manager, Cowkeeper AI, SecureStart onboarding, Cowkeeper Academy, and administration of the customer's email, identity, devices and security tools, within the scope described on our How it works page.
Fees
A monthly management fee by headcount band and a one-time setup fee, as published on our Pricing page and confirmed in the agreement. Third-party licenses (identity, device management, endpoint protection, backup, email security) are purchased by the customer from the vendor at the vendor's price. Headcount is counted weekly; band changes take effect from the first of the month after two consecutive weeks in a new band.
What's not included
Physical repair, onsite visits, servers and unusual networking, complex migrations, forensic incident response, penetration testing, compliance certification, unmanaged legacy technology and 24/7 staffed support are scoped and quoted separately. "24/7" refers to Cowkeeper AI self-service.
Authorization and access
The customer grants Cowkeeper least-privilege access to its systems through authorized consent, never shared passwords, and may revoke it at any time. Changes to accounts, access or devices are made only after approval by the customer's designated approvers as configured in the product.
Security statuses
Statuses shown in the product (Verified, Pending, Unknown, Needs attention) describe evidence available to Cowkeeper at the time shown. They are not guarantees against security incidents and are not certifications of regulatory compliance.
Awareness exercises
Phishing drills are conducted only with the customer's written authorization, on the customer's verified domains, using fictional scenarios that never collect credentials. Results are reported by team, not by individual, except to the customer's designated security contact for incident purposes.
Term and termination
Cowkeeper proposes an initial 12-month term. On termination the customer retains ownership of its domains, tenants, accounts and data; Cowkeeper provides an export and deletes its copies per the retention schedule.
